Event Overview
City Quest is a daily treasure hunt event where you must locate hidden treasures and NPCs throughout the Capital based on cryptic clues. Each day unlocks new quests with unique riddles to solve. This event tests your exploration skills and knowledge of the Capital's layout.
How to Participate
The event automatically becomes available once your server reaches Day 3 and the Capital unlocks. Simply navigate to the Capital and look for the event markers. Each day will present you with new clues to follow.
Requirements
Day 1 Guide
Castle Tales I
Location: Head towards the area between "Treasure Hunter and Heartbind". The chest is located slightly on the left-hand side.
Task: Once you reach the location, you'll be presented with a riddle about coconuts.

Elemental Tales I
Location: This time you're locating a person rather than a chest. The NPC is positioned slightly to the right of where you found the chest in the first quest.
Note
In some versions, the NPC may display non-English characters. This appears to be a localization artifact from the SEA version of the game and may be updated in future patches.
Day 2 Guide
Castle Tales II
Location: Head towards the "Toadlord" location on the map. The chest is located near the middle of this area.
Task: Once you reach the location, you'll be presented with a riddle about mangoes.

Location: Head South of Toadlord, the NPC "Vulture" you are looking for is on the cliffs.
Day 3 Guide
Castle Tales III
Location: Head to the Eastern Guardian Elder.
Task: Once you reach the location, you'll be presented with a riddle about hay.

Location: Head to the gate at the entrance of where the "Talent Leaderboard" is located. In the middle of this gate is an NPC with non-English characters for a name.

Similar to Day 1, the NPC may display non-English characters. This is a known localization issue from the SEA version.
Day 4 Guide
Castle Tales IV
Location: Head towards the middle "Guardian Elder", floating above the sea you will see a chest.
Task: Once you reach the location, you'll be presented with a riddle about bricks.

Location: The city gate, in between Wong and Toadlord, you will see an NPC called "Verimane".

Tips and Strategy
General Tips
Pay close attention to the wording in each clue - they often contain specific location hints. Familiarize yourself with the Capital's layout and key NPC locations to solve clues more quickly.
Pro Tip
Screenshot each clue as soon as you receive it. This makes it easier to reference the exact wording while exploring the Capital, especially if you need to take a break and come back later.
What to Expect
Each day will follow a similar pattern with 2 quests, but the locations and riddles will change. Some quests may require you to find chests, while others have you locate specific NPCs. The difficulty may increase as the event progresses.
